We are very proud of our four star rating from VisitScotland. Built in 2012 it sits in a south facing direction with views towards Beauly and the hills beyond. Visitors can enjoy a ten minute stroll to Beauly stopping for coffee in one of its cafes and browsing through its shops.
The area Barnyards was once a thriving fruit farm and the site the lodge sits in was where the berry pickers used to stay to the side of our house. Although there is no longer a fruit farm here the farm next door still grows strawberries and sells them in their shop Robertson's The Larder and meet their two Highland Cow's and several Alpacas. Our next door neighbours graze their prize Texel sheep in the field in front of the lodge. Visitors arriving in Spring can enjoy seeing the new born lambs in the nearby barn.
Inverness is a 20 minute drive away where you can visit its Castle, Cathedral, Eden Court Theatre and many shops and restaurants.
