Accommodation

The master bedroom has a king size bed with a 1000 pocket sprung mattress and luxury 400TC linen. It enjoys views of the countryside through the sliding patio doors which lead out onto the covered veranda. There is ample storage space in the fitted wardrobe with mirrored doors which with its vaulted ceiling and patio doors gives the room a beautiful airy feel. It is en-suite to the shower room which is also accessed through the hall for other guests. There is a hairdryer in the bedside cabinet and an iron, wash basket and ironing board in the cupboard. There are also cushions for use on the patio furniture. The picture on the wall was painted by one of our friends Helen Andrew.

The twin room has views to the rear and also has a fitted wardrobe.

The wall art in the twin room is by local artist Ann Wilton.

The open plan lounge with its vaulted ceiling has a multi-fuel stove for those evenings that are slightly cooler and a ceiling fan for warmer nights. It is comfortably furnished with leather sofas for you to relax and enjoy the views in or simply to watch TV a DVD or listen to music in. There is an oak dining table and chairs to enjoy your meals at which can be extended to make a more generous dining space. The table mats and coasters depicting Highland scenes and animal are by local artist K. Price. We supply some local guides/maps and tourist leaflets and timetables for your use.

Well appointed kitchen

The kitchen offers a home from home experience with all the facilities you would hope for with electric hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave oven and washing machine all covered by a solid oak worktop. We provide a welcome package from the local farm shop of free range eggs a cake and some milk so when you arrive you can put the kettle on and relax with a slice of cake. Access to the rear of the garden and ramp is through the back door where you will also find the wood box and wheelie bins.

Wi-fi available

There is central heating and Wi-Fi throughout for those who like to keep in touch with the outside world.

Good quality linen throughout

Linen is a soft and luxurious 400 thread count, we supply one set of bed linen per bed and one set of towels per guest.

Children and pets welcome

Well behaved children and pets are warmly welcomed we do ask that dogs do not go onto the furniture or are ever left unattended in the property.

Garden area and Parking

The garden faces towards Beauly and is in a south/west direction, you can enjoy the views of the village and hills beyond on the two garden benches or from the comfort of the covered veranda. There is lots of grass to play on and is enclosed by fencing and a wooded gate making it safe for all 4 and 2 legged visitors to roam in without wandering off. Most of the year there are sheep in the field in front who like to see who is staying in the lodge.

Parking for 2 cars completes the facilities offered.
