About Us

We have lived in Struan for the past 20 years and really enjoy the tranquillity Barnyards provides with the easy access to the village.

We currently have 2 cats and a Border Collie called Blue who share our house; you may well see the cats strolling through the field on their nightly expedition.

Along with our love of animals John loves photography, fishing and model aeroplanes whilst Susan is a keen golfer. Anyone arriving with their golf clubs and fancying a game at our local club, Muir of Ord Golf Club, should get in touch as we can arrange a reduced price game. We enjoy meeting our guests and are more than happy to provide advice on where to go or what to see.

Our cat GlenOur cats Heather and StormOur dog Blue. If you throw him a stick, it won't be just once!

Aside from our pets, we are lucky enough to be based right beside Robertson's Larder so you'll see plenty of local wildlife. It has a lovely farm shop, and is a working farm with Highland Cows and Alpaca's to meet and feed.

Struan Lodge is a Canadian style self catering lodge built on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Beauly in Scotland. If you are looking for good quality accommodation in a rural setting in the North of Scotland you've found it. Our self-catering accommodation is on the NC500 route and is a perfect base for those looking to explore the historic North East of Scotland.
